DIY Paint Chip Banner
In my family, one of the birthday tradition was to take the tattered birthday party banner and hang it above the windows in the kitchen. That signaled it was birthday week. Although there were other decorations at times, this little inexpensive banner was an important part of the celebration. As we each move into our own houses, I would bet we’ve all gotten one. If not, I know what to make for the next siblings birthday, anyway.
My sister-in-law is currently expecting her first child, and we are beyond excited at my house to become aunt and uncle to this bundle of joy. Her shower just happened a few days ago, so I wanted to send a little cheer to her. One of the homemade items in the Baby Shower in a Box was this DIY Paint Chip Banner. My hope is she will be able to use it for the upcoming celebration.
It was a small easy project that looks fantastic. You can customize your own banner to your celebration – babies, birthdays, or any occasion will do!
