Since becoming a mom, one of the daily rituals for me has been an early morning cup of coffee before I start my day. A few days a week, I only average a gulp before it’s off to work or feeding children, but other (more tired) days I finish the cup. One of the areas where I don’t excel is daily routines. I love to be flexible, and be spontaneous. Since having kids, I really had to work on the ability to do the same routine day in and day out for structure. One of the routines that I am not the best at making a priority is oral health. This lack of detail is beginning to show in my pictures – along with my coffee habit.
So here’s my confession, I photoshop my teeth in my blog pictures. Most nights I ensure Mr J and Miss P brush their teeth before bed, but I don’t always do my own. This lack of attention my own health irritates my husband who is usually on the receiving end of my bad breath. So, here you go, a before and after of one of my recent photos:
Yikes. It may not seem a big difference, but it is. My little coffee addiction seems to show up for all to see.
After I edited this picture, I may myself promise to be better at making this a priority – twice a day. I also need it to be a fast option that is going to provide me with the whitening that I so desire. Frankly, I have cut back on the caffeine, but I may not be able to cut it completely.
