Saving Everyday
I’m amazed at how quickly time flies. It seems just yesterday we were taking small steps to take our brand new babies home from the hospital. The journey of our little family continues every day. When I look back on these times, I want to remember the places we visited, but also the joy in the every day moments.
Miss P is little Miss Personality, and has brought out big words we didn’t expect from her at this age. Our phones and camera are currently posed on her, just waiting for her to take her first steps. Our little girl is a little stubborn though and isn’t quite ready to go there. There are words that Mr J say everyday that he hasn’t quite got the pronunciation on yet. Listening to him say them is embarrassingly cute. Right now, he begs me on each trip in the car to play “the Happy song” and then sings and claps along.
These are the little moments that I want to capture & save everyday. Lately, I have been using video along with my photographs. Enter the OneDay App – a simple way to create short movies that you’ll treasure. There are many different themes – our current favourite being a spooktacular one.
Check out the different categories and pick your favourite – you can ask for advice from your children, record their birth story while it is still fresh, montage your Halloween costumes or record their favourite silly face. If your children aren’t talking much yet either, no worries. There is a baby and toddler section designed just for them – to show off their favourite items, and capture their sweet personalities.
I have been compensated to write about this app. But as always, all opinions are my own!
a passionate recreation coordinator by day, crazy farm mama of two by night. i live outdoors: growing my own food, camping and hiking with my border collie with two active kids in tow. when I’m not writing, I’m experimenting with recipes, and crafts – or anything else that might keep the monkeys entertained.
