that perfect day
Most of my past history is relived through photographs. But there are periods of time where I just was not doing well and I didn’t feel like picking up my camera (shocking, I know). A few events will only have a quick couple of snaps as I was too busy living the adventure & taking the time to rewind to actually document every step of the way. The funny part is, I can still remember each experience and how I was feeling. Sand between my toes = good day.
The late Maya Angelou really said it the best:
“I’ve learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.”
I think the same way about interacting with businesses. There are some experiences (positive and negative) that just stick with you. You remember afterwards maybe not what happened, but you certainly remember how you felt. With a growing family, full-time work and trying to juggle it all, any business that makes it easier for me to interact & get what I need done fast – it’s a keeper.
Grand Gestures & #ActsofCaring
One of those time saving companies is Telus. They’ve been our cell phone provider for going on about five years now. I absolutely love that I can tweet my questions to them – and they answer fast! I can also use an app on my phone to track usage of all our family devices or go online. Simple.
But this time, they’ve stepped it up again….they are giving back to their customers with Grand Gestures. Who doesn’t love that? I got goosebumps watching this – customer service done right:
