It’s time for another addition to the alphabet craft lineup! Be sure to check out A is for Apple as well.
I simply adore these alphabet crafts. They’re a great way to get kids hands-on with learning. These can be done simply as a fun craft or used to complement a book or two on the subject. For the letter B I decided to go with Bear because he just looks so stinkin’ cute!
Books About Bears
For this letter craft, I used my Cricut Explore Air to cut out the letter B and the circles/ovals for the ears, paws and snout. This is also easily done by hand. I did the B in a darker brown and the ears, paws and snout in a lighter brown. I added some googly eyes and used a black marker to add the details – you could also use a crayon, pencil crayon or pen.
I prefer to work with cardstock but you can just as easily complete this craft with construction paper. If cutting by hand, it is much easier to cut the construction paper. You could also have some fun with it and use a paper bag if you don’t have any brown paper handy. If you are working with a Cricut, I like to use Arial Black as the font for my letters.
Another alteration to this craft would be to make a panda bear using black & white paper.

Andrea can always be found with a new craft in front of her, a form of technology on her right and a coffee on her left. This is how she survives suburbia with her two crazy toddlers in tow.
