Canadian Crock Pot Bacon Jam
A delicious crock pot recipe for Canadian bacon jam, made with a twist of maple syrup and Canadian wine.

Malbec Wine

Maple Syrup

Balsamic Vinegar

Saute onions in frying pan, set aside.

Cook bacon until crisp in frying pan.

Combine all ingredients into crockpot.

Cook on HIGH for 6-7 hours until bacon caramelizes.

Put in 2 - 250ml mason jars, seal and refrigerate until eating.
Try it on toast points, crackers or as a relish on your burger.
