Gluten-Free Apple Cinnamon Pancakes

Gluten-Free Apple Cinnamon Pancakes using Cuisine Soleil's 4 Grain Pancake Mix.

Ingredients

  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 beaten egg or flax egg, see notes
  • 1/2 cup milk cow, goat or vegetable
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 peeled apples gala
  • 1 tsp of cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp of maple syrup

Instructions

  1. If using egg substitute, flax egg - make it and put aside.
  2. Mix all other ingredients together in a bowl.
  3. Fold in egg and add milk to desired thickness (add more if you want to thin them)
  4. Cook in a hot greased pan.

Recipe Notes

Flax Egg: 1 tbsp flax meal + 3 tbsp water, put in fridge for approx 15 minutes until it starts gelling.
I also used almond milk for my 1/2 cup of milk, and added a little more (estimate about 1/2 cup for 1 cup total) to make my pancakes less thick.
