No one likes when their toddler gets sick. It’s frightening, especially when their temperature reaches 40°C. This is what happened to Miss O on Friday. It turned out to be the beginning of an ear infection so we just had to ride it out until the fever broke. When you’re feeling crummy, there is nothing better than a little TLC from mommy and getting cozy on the couch to watch a movie. It turned out to be the perfect time to watch The Seventh Dwarf, a new film featuring Sleeping Beauty (Miss O’s favourite).
The Seventh Dwarf is a funny tale all about heroes. When the youngest dwarf accidentally pricks Rose (aka Sleeping Beauty)’s finger, he sends the kingdom into a century-long slumber. The only way to fix this is to go on a long journey to find Rose’s one true love. They get into a number of crazy situations as only the seven dwarfs could do. Norm MacDonald is the voice of the dragon which parents will enjoy. Featuring all of the classic details from our favourite fairy tales, it was the perfect film for a day spent on the couch and a great way to introduce many different fairy tales to my little one. Miss O didn’t last the entire movie as she was very sleepy but she asked to finish it the next day. I’m sure it will be added to the regular rotation for the DVD player in the car!
The Seventh Dwarf will be released on Blu-Ray and DVD on August 18th. You can enter our giveaway to win your very own copy! Contest is open until August 29th. Enter today!

Andrea can always be found with a new craft in front of her, a form of technology on her right and a coffee on her left. This is how she survives suburbia with her two crazy toddlers in tow.

It’s favorite movie right now is a tie between the new Spongebob movie and Cinderella.
When I asked him what his favourite movie was, he said “Don’t say anything!” and ran away. I’m going to go out on a limb and say it’s probably any of the Thomas movies we’ve watched 5787546 times.
