In a lot of ways, I feel like my family is beyond blessed with how many possessions and the space we now have to roam with. We have been actively seeking to reduce the numbers of objects we have, and since we moved into a tiny home, not all of our toys are out. I wanted to share with you a few of our favourites for playing indoors and out that are kid-approved by my 2 & 4 year old.
- We’ll make time for daily outdoor play
- We’ll enjoy being active as a family
- We’ll be active role models
Honestly though – the bottom line is all your kids really need is YOU. They need your participation, your leadership as a role model. So whereas this gear will help, it’s your willing spirit and time investment that makes this stuff really shine. So, join me with taking the Parent Promise!
I’ve lined up our current favourites for gross motor skills, get bundled up to play in the winter weather, gear to help you make winter fun, low-tech toys for road tripping, and DIY options you can build yourself.
